Meet the Veterinarians & Team of Bell Veterinary Clinic in Metamora and Oxford! We’re pleased to provide exceptional vet care for your pets!

Debbie McGuirk, LVT, Site Leader/Practice Manager

Debbie is our manager for Bell Veterinary Clinic and is also a licensed veterinary technician. She has worked in many parts of veterinary medicine including neurology, emergency, ICU, internal medicine, surgery, general practice, dermatology, and oncology. Debbie enjoys teaching and mentoring others, as well as educating clients. When she is not in the clinics, you can often find her relaxing at home with her family and pets. Debbie is an avid reader, loves to travel, enjoys finding new local breweries and eateries, and has been a vegetarian for over 20 years! She is very passionate about veterinary medicine and sharing her knowledge and expertise with others.

Dr. Becky Dietlin, DVM

DVM, Wife, MSU Spartan enthusiast, 3 year cancer survivor, Animals big and small I really love them all!

Dr. Dietlin is our amazing veterinarian that works at our Metamora clinic. She was destined to be a veterinarian from birth, and never really saw another path other than becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Dietlin has dabbled in Large Animal, Emergency, and has found her happy place in Small Animal veterinary care. When not practicing you can find her coiled up on her couch watching The Crown on Netflix with her two adorable wirehaired pointing griffon Oliver and Darla, or jamming along to her favorite country star, Garth Brooks, anyone else have friends in low places?

Amy Schroeder, LVT

Amy is our licensed veterinary technician at our Metamora clinic. She has loved animals her whole life, so when it was time for a career change after 15 years of bar tending, she knew she wanted to go into veterinary medicine! Amy graduated from the Macomb Community College veterinary technician program in 2019. She passed her state board exam the same week she had her third child! Amy says It has been very life changing and that she loves what she does. Amy shares her home and her passion with her husband and 3 kids marcus 15 penny 6 and June 2. They have 2 dogs and 11 chickens. Amy lives in beautiful Metamora, and really enjoys her community and doing anything outdoors. Amy looks forward to working close to home with all of our great clients and patients for many years to come.

Amelia Leonard, LVT

Amelia is one of our LVTs that works at both our Metamora and Oxford locations. She recently got married in 2021 and has a feisty cat named Rodney, that she adopted from work. Amelia graduated from Baker College of Flint and passed her board exams for vet tech in 2019. Her love for animals began at a young age with her family dog, Lincoln, and family cat, Scratchy. Amelia loves being able to help animals, educate pet owners, and work with furry family members all day long!

Allison Burgett, Senior Veterinary Assistant

Busy Bee, Animal Collector, Can’t Swim, I have too many chickens

Allison is our highly skilled veterinary assistant that works at our Metamora clinic. Allison joined our team in 2017. She grew up in Lapeer, MI riding and training horses. Her and her husband, Andrew, have a small hobby farm. Allison has 3 dogs: Pearl a black lab, Ruby a mini dachshund, and Opal a yellow lab. She also has a cat named Loca and a quarter horse named Prim. Her favorite part of working at Bell Veterinary Clinic is the opportunity to learn new things, and how fun our clients and her co-workers are to work with. Her “go-to” comfort food is dill pickle chips and chocolate ice cream. Allison has a great sense of humor and a contagious laugh!

Samantha Kehren, Veterinary Assistant

Sam is one of our veterinary assistants who works at both at our Oxford and Metamora locations. She graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Zoology. Sam enjoys boating, skiing, and traveling with her friends and family. Sam’s goals for the future include going back to school to become a veterinarian one day!

 

Cindy Fielder, Veterinary Assistant

Cindy is one of our veterinary assistants who works at both Oxford and Metamora, but is more often in our Metamora location.

 

Samantha Morse, Veterinary Assistant

Sam is one of our veterinary assistants who works at both our oxford and Metamora clinics. She is currently going to school to be a licensed veterinary technician through the Penn Foster program. Sam has 2 dogs and 1 cat. In her spare time she likes to be outdoors and relax with friends and family. Her favorite thing about working at Bell Vet is working with the best doctors and team and learning something new everyday!

 

Ashleigh Motoligian – Veterinary Assistant

Ashleigh is one of our veterinary assistants that works at both our oxford and Metamora clinics. She is currently applying to veterinary school and loves working for Bell Veterinary Clinic! Ashleigh also has two cats, one dog, and a bunny – never a dull moment!

 

Rachel Bachner, Client Ambassador

Rachel is one of our client ambassadors who works at both our oxford and Metamora clinics. She is married with a 9 year-old step daughter, and has lots of animals! 18 chickens, 4 ducks, 2 turkeys, 2 dogs, and 1 sphynx cat. Rachel loves chatting and getting to know people. You will always find her with a smile on her face at our front desk!

 

Bev Hester, Client Ambassador

Bev is one of our client ambassadors that works at our oxford and Metamora clinics. She has worked in the veterinary field since 1989! During that time, she also owned her own dog, cat and pocket pet boarding facility for 16 years. Bev’s life greatly revolves around Great Danes! She has owned them since 1987 and has always had multiple Great Danes in her home.
